Sri Lankan Cultural Circle is a group of dedicated young Sri Lankans committed to promoting Sri Lankan culture. The Group conducts a Workshop to provide training to children and youth of the Sri Lankan community, in all aspects of Drama - both traditional and modern, Dance forms including folk - traditional and modern, training in Music- both instrumental and vocal and training in the art of playing traditional drums. This Group was formed in May 2002, under the guidance of United Sri Lanka Association Inc, Wellington.

Sri Lankan Cultural Circle presented its first maiden performance "Gami Ranga Mandala" a village folk drama in August 2002. It became very popular with the Sri Lankans community. Driven and inspired by the success of "Gemi Ranga Mandala" the Group produced two other dramas, "Ape Kurulu Gama" and "Sura Nara Kolam" in March 2003. Majority of participants of the play "Ape Kurulu Gama" were Sri Lankan children.

Cultural Workshops are being conducted by the two Instructors, Yashodhara Sarachchandra and Kusumsiri Liyanaarachchi.
